smooth segmented helm wip

I took some time and worked on the base design for a helm. Most of the point of the exercise this time was getting the base geometry going in a 3D modeling program so I could make semi-arbitrary designs and patterns. For the first one I just went for simple panels that get sewn together, with no real ornamentation built into the design. So I then punched some holes for Reasons.

I was figuring at first I would just do it in black, but then I felt like that was boring, and noticed that the design I'd done had 6 segments. And with some encouragement from a friend, I went for rainbow.
