Extreme Spines Dragon Tail

Here's a commission I just finished. It has the most complex set of claw spikes I've used on anything so far. The top part of the tail has a few large and small dragon claw spikes, which are what I normally use in these tails. The bottom, though, has 4 different sizes of cat claw shaped spikes, going from small to large and back again. It was cool to work with, but was also harder than I'd expected.

The patterning on this tail is standard aluminum in the background with mottled black anodized aluminum stripes down the spine, plus a yellow underbelly.

This tail also has a diamond shaped spade tip that is detachable. But I forgot to bring it along when I went to take photos of the tail, so I guess I'll be taking more photos again. You can see a couple of the lobster clasps that clip the spade tip on. I'm happy about how unobtrusive they are when the spade tip isn't there.
