Dog Tag Photos

I worked out something awesome yesterday.

I worked out a way to use the laser-cutters to etch a photo onto anodized aluminum dog tags. As a test, I did a picture of me and some random woman.

The aluminum oxidizes to white when it gets hit by the laser, so by varying the intensity of the laser according to the pixel value of the image I can get photos onto black anodized aluminum.

I am opening up for commissions for these! For now, let's say $15 gets your image on a dog tag. If you want two, or if you want your name on the back too, I'll work out the pricing on that.

The dog tags are 2 inches tall. I should probably get some of that ball chain stuff.
