Black dragon tail with clips

Here's something that's been sitting around for a long time. This is a tail I made for myself a year or two ago. The thing I wanted to try out with this one was putting a row of clips all down the spine, so there would be lots of attachment points for things.

I wore this around Arisia, the local sci-fi/fantasy convention, in January handing out business cards, and during the dance party I clipped 6 glowsticks down the spine in a rainbow. It was pretty excellent, and I had my first experience of a guy awkwardly and adorably hitting on me. Sadly I didn't think to get photos of it like that, so I'll have to get more glowsticks sometime and find another excuse to dress up and be weird.

Anyway, what you see is anodized aluminum, linked together with stainless steel rings like always. This tail also has an underbelly of standard aluminum, but it's not visible from this angle.
